This is a picture of a young Native American Qahatika-Girl. Once a proud Nation of people who lost their land and pride because of greed.
My Ancestry goes back to either the Blackfoot or Crow Nation as far as we know, my family were doing research and hit a stumbling block so far down the line so we’re not really sure.
These people are well known for their spiritual beliefs and i think if some of these so called world leaders took a leaf out of their book things probably wouldn’t be so bad in the world these days.
Many movies were made to make these look like the bad guys and labelled them savages, surely the savages were the people that committed the crimes against them

Lovely--and thought-provoking. I've often wondered how this country would have been different if whites had embraced the First Nations peoples and their beliefs and philosophies, rather than trying to exterminate them...what a different place America might be today... **sigh** I love the face--very calm, collected--beautiful; her simple earring the only adornment, and even then not needed... Lovely texturing in the hair and robes. Just lovely!
